Resident Evil 3 Remake Trailer

Resident Evil 3 Remake Review

We will be talking about Resident Evil 3 Remake gameplay, features, plot and overall review. Resident Evil 3, it's always been the odd game in the franchise it was originally intended to just be a spin-off and show us a second glance at raccoon city.

So it's kind of fascinating to see that the remake is in many ways going to possibly be the biggest most expansive and of course maybe even the best resident evil ever.

Resident Evil 3 gameplay and changes

The new controls in Resident Evil 3 Remake, are clearly the biggest difference between the Resident evil 2 Remake to the Resident Evil 3 Remake is going to be the action.

We're getting new combat systems the biggest thing being the dodge this was introduced back in the day on Resident Evil 3 and it allows you to kind of skip around enemies or kind of a duck under the crazy blows of nemesis himself.

Now this is pretty much mandatory I mean just saying this right up front after playing the demo a couple times i think that's everybody should definitely try this out to start practicing the dodge.

Now because if you get hit or if you have somebody try and come and rip your throat out these bites hurt and there is never enough ammunition.

Or healing items to make it where you can just play sloppy you need to be good at this dodge and a major reason i even downloaded this demo is to try and practice it.

And i'm still pretty bad going against nemesis let's talk about him because i feel like this is the biggest thing that people are going to be either loving or completely hating last year during the Resident Evil 2 Remake launch there was a lot of conversation about if mr x was too hard the fact that there was this tyrant super soldier that was following you all around the map.

And could not be killed seemed to casual gamers to be a little bit too tough well let me just tell you if you thought that that bald guy was hard you are going to be ripped inside out a million times over by nemesis.

This guy is faster he's able to jump to catch up with you he's intelligent and most importantly he can use weapons this guy is not just standing around and waiting for you to shoot him.

In fact I tried shooting him i tried to blast this guy with my shotgun once i unlocked it and he seems to be pretty much bulletproof i'm pretty sure that the whole thing they're gonna be trying to do with nemesis this time is trying to really kind of imply that he is a super soldier.

This is a biological weapon a walking talking breathing machine that wants to do nothing more than to kill you in the most gory way possible.

And in this demo he completely tossed my salad I mean look at this i'll be i'm not gonna lie my deaths were all because of this guy I never got cornered by the zombies or just made a careless mistake.

It was only this dude who was there to try and pound me into the pavement it's cool that nemesis is even faster and smarter this time around.

But my one gripe so far especially with this little demo is that i still don't exactly love how he looks i mean something about the idea that he is like this gooey freak.

Now that part's cool i don't like that he's wearing trash bags i mean this this that's all it looks like to me is that somebody decided to wrap a bunch of slightly melted summer heat trash bags around a dead body.

And now it's jumping up and walking around it just doesn't really imply the same fear and the intelligence when he had real clothing on his like leather coats.

And stuff from the original version it kind of implied that he was a human in some capacity that he was reasoning and thinking and that somebody really tried to create this they actually made him clothes and stuff.

It made it seem more like umbrella wanted this super soldier to exist okay but getting past nemesis.

Resident Evil 3 Graphics

I want to talk more about just the graphics of Resident Evil 3 Remake, this is by far the thing that i am the most in love with and i try not to just be a dumb freaking full and being blown away by graphics.

But this Resident Evil 3 Remake, is visually stunning the best part about Resident Evil 3 vs Resident Evil 2 is that Resident Evil 2 it took place after raccoon city is pretty much dead.

I mean the main characters show up after the zombie apocalypse has taken place so they don't really get a chance to see too many survivors and for the most part the city streets are already completely demolished by explosions and barricades.

Whereas Resident Evil 3 this takes place as the stuff is hitting the fan I mean there are still humans running around there's still the screams and cries of people on the wind and you still have a chance to kind of see.

Where everything is going down now we always knew that this was going to be the case but really getting a chance to see it in all this crazy graphical fidelity.

It's so realistic i mean this may be some of my favorite graphics ever because it's so nice that I can walk through a subway and see individual movie posters with silly memes that are referencing things like mega man and even trailers and stuff.

And then you go right out up onto the streets itself and you could see all these fresh zombie corpses walking around trying to find somebody to feast upon.

And then from there you could do things like shoot explosive barrels and liquefy those that are nearby or see a crashed police car and kind of wonder what all is going down by far.

My favorite thing about this that I'm just never going to get over is the fact that this feels like a town this really feels alive in such an ironic sense a game that's filled with so many rotting corpses.

And undead it has such an interesting energy to it and so when i'm walking down the street and i see like a bunch of things just walking outside of like a liquor store.

Or i'm trying to just break into a random gun shop and find an extra piece of ammunition i like that there's just so much in this that feels completely realized.

What else we know about Resident Evil 3 Remake?

And in this demo which admittedly is a tiny taste of a bigger project there was not a lot of boundaries you could kind of just walk into any building you could solve puzzles you could read clues open up journals.

This is a surprisingly deep and meaty look at the game itself that i am definitely all encompassing ready for this is coming out relatively soon i guess it's coming out in like three weeks.

And I am definitely on board on it i am a huge fan of resident evil so of course I was gonna pick this up but i was kind of curious if they were gonna find a way to make this different.

Final Words

It's really nice that despite the fact that this has so much new content in it it's still at its heart it definitely feels like a remake this is the original Resident Evil 3 completely redone all the way down to things like having a reloading tool that lets you craft your own bullets.
